In today's world, everyone is a target. The biggest target is pop culture itself.
My cartoon strip, SHOOTING STARS, exposes the absurdity of the current
everyone-is-a-celebrity mindset. Reality television, tabloid headlines,
rock groupies, wanna-bes and everyone on the fringe of today's
entertainment industry are fuel for the fire, ready to be burned by the biting
wit and satirical humor of SHOOTING STARS. The joke is on us, and we
are living it. The world of SHOOTING STARS is our world seen backwards
in a funhouse mirror, filtered through digital cable, broadcast on HDTV,
burned to Blu-Ray and played frame by frame in stop motion. SHOOTING STARS
offers a unique perspective, a new twist, and a breath of fresh air in today's
world of politically correct cartoons.
